The physical state of your battery might appear to be in solid working order. Still, the drastic change in temperature can weaken the connection and sometimes even cause corrosion on the electrodes. Checking the status of the battery’s connection is a great way to ensure its longevity.

The summer heat, when paired with the friction caused by your vehicle’s braking system, can sometimes increase the wear and tear on your tires. There’s also a chance that you did a fair amount of driving during the summer months, so having your tires looked at and rotated before the fall weather begins is probably a good idea.
