Autotrader, one of the most respected publications and voices within the automotive industry, first took notice of the Palisade during the 2020 model year. Brian Moody, the publication's chief editor, was very forthcoming in his praise of the vehicle. “The 2023 Palisade’s updates are more than just a facelift. With a new rugged-looking XRT trim offered and more luxury options like a massaging driver's seat and heated third-row seats, it’s enough to keep it fresh while not messing with a winning formula.” This recognition has been gratefully received from Hyundai, with Olabisi Boyle, one of the main driving forces behind Hyundai North America describing it as “an honor.”
