Autotrader named 12 vehicles on their Best New Cars for 2022 list. Out of more than 300 evaluated models, the Hyundai IONIQ 5 was one of only 12 cars, trucks, and SUVs that received this notable award.

In order to receive the Best New Cars for 2022 accolade from Autotrader, vehicles are ranked by a team of experts using a range of criteria. Vehicles named to the list are available for purchase within the next nine months and offer groundbreaking technology or significant value. The IONIQ 5 was recognized by Autotrader for its innovation in both technology and design.
